Identify the number of products to be inspected according to the AQL table (Single Sampling Plan for normal inspection), then follow below process to do the sampling:
Step1. Select the right quantity of cartons
At least the square root of the total number of cartons, or otherwise defined by client, in the shipment are randomly selected and opened. The inner content is checked for correct quantity and assortment. The samples are selected proportionally from the opened cartons. If the sum of opened cartons cannot give the sufficient number of sample size, cartons should be opened until the quantity is met.
Step 2. Randomly select the cartons from the pallets
Select the cartons randomly, for example, from the front and back, top and down, right, let and inside of the pallet, not just from the same position of the pallet. If the goods are not 100% packed, also need to select the samples from the unpacked products according to the ratio of packed and unpacked pieces.
Step 3. Randomly select the products from selected cartons
During the selection of products from cartons, need randomly pick up the pieces, for example, from each lay or each poly bag of product, to represent the real product quality situation as maximum as possible.
Step 4. Visual checking & Function test
The professional inspector of different products will make sure your products meet the products specification and the quality standards of your destination market.
Step 5. Verify the defectives with factory
For every inspection, the inspector needs to double confirm the onsite defectve findings with factory,the onsite report also need to be signed by both sides
Step 6. Anti-Bribery Agreement
To avoid reputational damage, the factory and Longway inspector will sign an Anti-Bribery-Agreement to ensure that the result of inspection is not biased by any kind of corruption.
Step 7. Inspection Supervision
Each inspection should be following up by quality control department on scheduled date; all details should be double checked before the inspector leaves the factory.
Step 8. Customized inspection Report
Longway may provide A Customized detailed report to different clients for free,according to the product specification and customer special request.
Step 9. Complaints and quick feedback
To figure out the quality issue,Longway quality control department will provide an investigation report to client within 8 hours for any complaint.
Defects Classification Criteria
Defects detected during inspection are classified within 3 categories -"Critical", " Major ", " Minor "and the normal definitions are:
Critical: Defects which could result in hazardous or unsafe conditions for individuals using or maintaining the product as well as defects contravening legal regulations.
Major: Functional defects reducing the usability or solidity of the product as well as obvious visual defects reducing the sales value of the product.
Minor: Defects that are unlikely to reduce the use of the product, but nevertheless may influence the sale.
For random inspection, the following rules are applied: If the same sample has several defects, only the most serious defect is counted. In the case of critical defects, the entire shipment must be rejected as a matter of principle and clients consulted for a decision.
